Triple "F" Fess-Ups

No, that is not my bra size. I meant it to refer to Feeble Foibles & Follies. In an effort not to dwell on my own Mind Slipping Occurrences (MSO's), I suggest that you, gentle reader, share some of your own under the comment section. My sister had the audacity to tell me that my filling Buster's seed cup with coffee was far worse than her trying to turn the TV on with her car's remote key ring. So please, try to appease me by sharing some of your own MSO's. You know what they say, "Confession is good for the soul." So fess up!

Oh boy, where do I start? I, too, have put my shirt on backwards or inside-out. I blame it on the fact that I don't have my glasses on yet. I've gotten out of the shower without rinsing the soap off. When leaving for work in the morning I often put my lunch next to my tote bag and then forget to take it. I could make a very long list! You're not alone Sue.

Gotten out of the shower without rinsing the soap off? That is hysterical! My sis used my dog's shampoo while visiting once cause it was in the shower. She said she liked my new shampoo!

I just thought of another one. I drive past the local library every day, twice a day in fact. The "billboard" out front advertises that a local author will be there to speak on November 20th at 7 p.m. For two weeks I planned on attending and went there LAST Thursday only to find that I was a week early. But the funny thing is my older brother did the same thing so I don't feel so bad.

You are right about keeping the mind exercised.I'm 62 and since retiring, I find a little slowdown in my memory. Sadly, I have to admit that I've also accidently used my dog shampoo. I've also taken my dogs pills when not paying close attention. I've gotten out of the shower with my conditioner still in my hair. Last week I 'covered' my purse with the paperwork I had to take to the doctor and moved it aside, grabbed my purse and walked out without the paper. Last week I drove to the store to buy something on ad, only to find out that I went to the wrong store. Duh. You have to laugh. Besides age, I attribute my forgetfulness to having too many things on my mind. Sounds like a good excuse to me.
